Matthew Hays

Matt is a Co-Founder and Partner of Panmure Capital. Matt has been the Chief Executive Officer of Equipment Technologies, makers of the Apache crop sprayers, since first investing in the company in 2002. In 2016, Matt and his partners sold Equipment Technologies to Exel Groupe, a manufacturer of spraying equipment for agriculture, industrial and consumer markets based in Paris, France. After graduating from Indiana University (BS – Accounting, 1986), he began his career at Price Waterhouse in the audit practice where he worked for seven years. In 1992, he became CFO of Sunrise Publications, a privately held manufacturer of ink-on-paper social expression products. Later that same year, Matt participated with management to orchestrate an LBO of Sunrise. From 1992 to 1999 Matt was a shareholder and member of the executive team. He ultimately became CFO and COO of the company and helped lead the sale of the company to Hallmark Cards in 1998. From 1999 – 2002 Matt was COO of iProperty.com, a real estate e-commerce start-up sold to Fidelity National Financial in 2001.

Matt and his wife Laura are both Hoosiers and reside in Indianapolis with their two daughters.

Carson Lattimore

Carson is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Panmure Capital. Prior to co-founding Panmure Capital, he worked in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs advising clients in the Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging and Retail sectors. While at Goldman Sachs, he helped advise on more than $50 billion of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions including: company and portfolio acquisitions, spin-offs, initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, private equity placements, joint ventures, secured debt financings and unsecured debt financings. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Carson was an Analyst at EDENS, a leading owner, operator and developer of retail real estate. At EDENS, he played a key role in capital raising activities in addition to directly supporting the Chief Investment Officer on acquisition, disposition, re-development, development and asset management activities.

Carson received a BS in Financial Management from Clemson University and a MSF from the University of Alabama. He and his wife, Brooke, a Cincinnati native, met as classmates in the MSF program at Alabama and currently reside in Cincinnati.
